Fun Fact: One Saturday morning (I was 5), My mama told me she found me just giggling, opening her new lipstick and found it quite peculiar that I set her new blush brush aside 😮 … like I had plans for it. I was only 5. She could tell that my heart wanted to play in makeup. Mama nurtured my natural gifts, ushering me into the woman I am today.
This is my friend, Pastor Dana Dudley. It doesn't take much makeup to look and feel beautiful.
Tips for Touch-ups at the reNEW Retreat
* We'll have just 10 minutes together at Renew, so please come with a fresh face and moisturized skin.
* Apply your concealer and foundation beforehand. Arriving with at least concealer and foundation will ensure the best results.
* Feel free to bring your own makeup to your touch-up session. If you choose not to bring your make-up, I will hygienically use my own with single-use applicators. I have an array of cosmetics including Bobbi Brown, Make-up by Mario and NYX.
* If you need to purchase a cleanser, moisturizer, concealer, or foundation, I suggest visiting a makeup counter or your local Ulta or Sephora for assistance.
* The sales associates are quite knowledgeable these days. You can ask someone to match you with a concealer and foundation; they are usually happy to help. Some of my favorite brands are Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Chanel, and Clinique.
* If hitting up Ulta, Sephora, or the mall isn't feasible for you, here are some drugstore brands I've had good experiences with Cetaphil Cleanser, Oil of Olay moisturizer, and NYX for makeup.
